AI-powered dashboard suite to track and prevent failures on e-vehicles.
Together with Pull Systems we embarked on a mission to build a product that could offer the companies of the future building eVehicles, a fast and reliable way to understand the failures happening within their products.
I was the lead designer for the project in charge of understanding stakeholder needs from differentent technical backgrounds and making sure their interests were represented within the final product.
Pull System felt that there were no good products out there to outline and track workflows for eVehicles in a way that would allow companies to easily track failures, recognize patterns, find root causes and keep all the data in the same place.
Our main target was to build a project that would allow users to do just that: centralize data so all stakeholders in the production and repairmen line could easily view and identify what they needed to work as well a to collaborate with others to solve issues that are common between different technical sections.
Understanding specific failures origins, common patterns in the vehicles where it happens and the root causes behind each event is a must, so we deep dived into an easy way for stakeholders to recognize repetitive failures, track them and automatically create a report to understand the reasons behind it.
One of the main challenges we had, was to make sure power users were able to track and recognize failure patterns and save them if they deemed it necessary.
After a few trial and errors, we decided to turn programming into something every power user could do within the platform, we created a “expression builder” based on the “conditionals” you can use to program something.
